Together, we’re building a stronger, more connected communities, one meaningful connection at a time.

Who Are We?

Connect 2 Rise Inc. is a nonprofit organization dedicated to reducing loneliness and promoting positive mental health across all generations.

Through a combination of one-to-one support, social groups, and engaging events, we aim to create robust support networks and build communities both locally and globally, ensuring no one faces life's challenges alone.

We want to change the way the world talks and think about loneliness.

Loneliness is a common human experience, yet it often feels like something we should be ashamed of or hide that portion of our lives. Have you ever felt afraid to admit you were lonely, worried about being judged or misunderstood? You're not alone.

We believe it's time to break down these barriers and openly discuss loneliness and lack of community. Feeling lonely is not a sign of weakness or failure; it's a natural part of being human. By normalizing these feelings, we can encourage more people to reach out for support and build meaningful connections personally and professionally.

Let's remove the stigma surrounding loneliness by fostering conversations that promote empathy, understanding, and acceptance. Imagine a world where you feel comfortable talking about your feelings without fear of being judged. This shift in perspective can lead to stronger, more supportive and empathic communities where no one has to face life's challenges alone.

Together, we can transform the way society views loneliness and community, making it easier for everyone to connect, share, and support one another.  Let's make a difference, one conversation at a time.

Support We Provide

Connect 2 Rise offers supportive, meaningful connections and resources for all generations lacking human connection or facing loneliness, as well as the opportunity of making new connections and forge new friendships through our social groups.

We run a variety of social groups and events for people to get involved with, helping them build strong bonds and create a social support network they can rely on beyond their traditional circles. Our offerings range from coffee meetups, art and crafts sessions, and career and professional development to social circle groups and outings, ensuring there is something for everyone to enjoy.

Why are we tackling loneliness and social isolation now?

01

Loneliness Does Not Discriminate:

Loneliness is affecting everyone, from teens and single parents to new parents, widowers, empty nesters, the elderly, and those starting new jobs. In today's fast-paced and demanding world, it's all too easy to neglect the importance of building friendships in exchange for a social media check-in leaving many with meaningful connections.
02
Mental Health Impacts Have Real Health Consequences:
Loneliness and poor mental health don't just affect how you feel emotionally; they have serious impacts on your physical health as well. Experiencing loneliness can lead to depression, anxiety, and low self-esteem, which over time, can contribute to chronic health issues, a weakened immune system, and even a reduced life expectancy.
03
Social Media Impacts on Mental Health:
While social media promises to connect us, it often leaves us feeling more isolated than ever now. Constantly comparing our lives to the curated images and posts of others can lead to feelings of inadequacy, loneliness, and depression.

The superficial interactions on social media can’t replace the deep, meaningful connections we once had and crave for our mental well-being. It's important to recognize that while social media can be a tool for connection, it can also contribute to a sense of loneliness.

The Hidden Toll: How Toxic Relationships and Isolation Harm Mental Health
In today's world, generational trauma, toxic family dynamics, a challenging dating pool, and the absence of a supportive community are severely impacting mental health. These factors lead to feelings of rejection, low self-esteem, depression, and anxiety.

Untreated mental health problems can lead to chronic stress, worsening physical health, and decreased quality of life. Individuals struggling with these issues are at higher risk for substance abuse, self-harm, and even suicide.
